This article describes how to accomplish advanced domain management tasks using the Petal Host Customer Portal, including changing contact information, obtaining EPP codes, and performing bulk domain updates. The information in this article only applies to domains purchased directly from Petal Host.
Before you start
If you do not know how to log in to the Customer Portal, please see: How to access the PetalHost Customer Portal.
Changing contact information
To change the registrant, administrative, or technical contact information for a domain, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Customer Portal.
- On the menu bar, click DOMAINS, and then click MY DOMAINS.
- Click the domain you want to configure.
- (Optional) Filter the domain list by status. In the View sidebar, click Active, Expired, Cancelled, or Expiring.
- In the Manage sidebar, click Contact Information.
Update the contact information for:
- Registrant contact
- Administrative contact
- Technical contact
For each contact, select an existing account contact or enter custom information in the provided fields.
- Click Save Changes.

Obtaining an EPP code
If you want to transfer your domain to another registrar, you must obtain an EPP code (also called AuthInfo code, transfer secret, or EPP key) first. This provides additional security to prevent unauthorized transfers.
- Log in to the Customer Portal.
- On the menu bar, click DOMAINS, and then click MY DOMAINS.
- Click the domain for which you want to obtain an EPP code.
- In the Manage sidebar, click Get EPP Code.
A confirmation appears, and the EPP code is sent to the registrant email address for the domain.
Bulk domain management
The Customer Portal allows bulk updates for multiple domains at once:
- Nameservers
- Auto renewal status
- Registrar lock status
- Contact information
To update multiple domains, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Customer Portal.
- On the menu bar, click DOMAINS, and then click MY DOMAINS.
- Select multiple domains by clicking the check box to the left of each domain you want to update.
- Select the option you want to update:
- To change nameservers: Click Manage Nameservers.
- To change auto renewal: Click More, then Auto Renewal Status.
- To change registrar lock: Click More, then Registrar Lock Status.
- To update contact info: Click Contact Information.
- Apply the changes to all selected domains and click Save Changes.
