This article describes how to obtain a dedicated IP address for your Petal Host hosting account. A dedicated IP is a unique IP address assigned exclusively to your account, enabling features like custom SSL certificates and better performance for high-traffic websites.

How to order a dedicated IP address
Dedicated IP addresses are requested through a billing support ticket:
- Log in to the Customer Portal.
- Go to Support Tickets.
- Select Billing as the department.
- In the ticket, specify:
- Request: Dedicated IP address
- Hosting package: Exact service name (if multiple packages)
- Reason: SSL certificate, high traffic, etc. (optional)
- Submit the ticket. Petal Host will process your request and assign the dedicated IP.
