How to edit account details on the Customer Portal

This article describes how to edit your PetalHost account details using the Customer Portal. You can update your email address, payment method, phone number, and more.

Before you start

You must be logged in to the PetalHost Customer Portal to edit your details. If you do not know how to log in, please see: How to access the PetalHost Customer Portal .

Editing account details (account owner)

  1. Log in to the PetalHost Customer Portal.
  2. On the top menu bar, click HELLO, NAME! (where NAME is your first name). 
  3. In the dropdown menu, click Account Details
  4. On the Account Details page, update your contact information:
    • First Name / Last Name
    • Email Address (used to log in to the Customer Portal)
    • Phone Number
    • Billing Address
    • Default Payment Method (where available)
  5. Review your Email Address carefully. The Customer Portal uses this address as your login username. The next time you log in, you must use this new email address.
  6. When you are done, click Save Changes to apply the updates.

If you change your email address and then try to log in with the old address, you will not be able to access your account. Always use the updated email address after you save your changes.

Editing your user profile (invited user)

If you are logged in as a user invited to someone else’s PetalHost account (for example, a developer or team member), you can edit your own user profile. Your profile contains your name and email address. Your permissions and access are controlled by the main account owner.

  1. Log in to the PetalHost Customer Portal.
  2. On the top menu bar, click HELLO, NAME! (where NAME is your first name). 
  3. In the dropdown menu, click Your Profile
  4. On the Your Profile page, update:
    • Name
    • Email Address
  5. Click Save Changes to update your profile.

Updating your user profile changes how your name and email appear to the account owner and in notifications, but it does not change account ownership or billing details.
