The User Management feature lets you invite additional users to your PetalHost account and grant them specific permissions, such as billing, support, or product access.
Before you start
You must be logged in to the PetalHost Customer Portal to manage users. If you do not know how to log in, please see: How to access the PetalHost Customer Portal.
User Management Overview
User Management enables you to invite new users and control which areas of your account they can access. For example, you could allow one user to manage billing, while another only manages products and services.
The following permissions are available for user accounts:
- Modify Master Account Profile: Access and modify the main account owner’s profile.
- View & Manage Contacts: Access and manage account contacts.
- View Products & Services: View hosting products, services, and addons.
- View & Modify Product Passwords: Reset and manage service passwords.
- Perform Single Sign-On: Use Single Sign-On to access services.
- View Domains: View domain registrations associated with the account.
- Manage Domain Settings: Manage domain settings such as nameservers and transfers.
- View & Pay Invoices: View and pay invoices.
- View & Accept Quotes: View and accept quotes.
- View & Open Support Tickets: View, open, respond to, and manage support tickets.
- View & Manage Affiliate Account: View and manage affiliate information.
- View Emails: View the account’s email history.
- Place New Orders/Upgrades/Cancellations: Place new orders, request upgrades, and cancel products or services.
If a user tries to access an area they do not have permission for, they see a message stating that they do not have the required permissions.
